Lynx 1.1.2: downloads reconnect by themselves
When the connection drops, a download now waits, tries again and picks up where it stopped. Plus exact-frame clips and a calmer notch.
If your Wi-Fi drops or a server stops answering, Lynx 1.1.2 waits a few seconds and tries again, a little longer each time, and carries on from where it stopped. The row says how long it is waiting, and the notch and the browser extension show it too. If nothing arrives for several minutes, the download stops with a plain sentence saying why, instead of hanging.
Also in this release
- Clips are cut on whole frames and checked before they are marked done.
- Ready for the next browser extension, which pairs with no code to type.
- Faster lookups, a Settings window that opens at once, and long lists that scroll smoothly.
- A calmer notch that knows when an app is full screen.
- The Lynx engine only answers to Lynx itself, its notch and its extension, each holding a key that stays on your Mac.
